We are seeking an organized and innovative marketing professional with 3+ years of experience to join our team. The Marketing Strategist will work at CHIEF headquarters supporting one of our government clients, with one to two days per week working at the client site. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in defining and assessing metrics and KPIs for website, social media, and marketing efforts. This role will use data from various sources to develop regular reports. Insights shared will guide the strategic direction of future marketing efforts.
What You'll Do
Plan, develop, and execute new marketing campaigns and enhance existing campaigns using a variety of channels (e.g., website, email, social media, advertisements).
Assist in expanding reach among target audiences.
Collaborate with internal and external teams to execute marketing campaigns, including content development.
Track and analyze digital efforts against set KPIs.
Monitor ongoing activities to provide quantitative insights around marketing strategy implementation.
Support agency efforts to define and implement metrics, collect and analyze customer feedback, and strengthen reporting and analysis capabilities.
Provide ongoing support of digital marketing channels and identify opportunities to extend reach among target audiences.
Effectively manage marketing production and dissemination schedules.
Provide SEO expertise.
Position Reports To:
Director of Marketing Strategy
Undergraduate degree required; preferably a BS/BA in marketing, statistics, math, economics, psychology, or other quantitative field.
Knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, Google Data Studio, Google Search Console, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, YouTube Analytics, and other native analytical tools.
In-depth knowledge of web analytics and commitment to design of actionable analytics reports.
Highly proficient in Word, PowerPoint and Excel; experience with pivot tables to conduct analysis of data sets from multiple data sources a plus.
Familiar with social, digital, print, and email marketing best practices in order to effectively reach target audiences.
Possesses strong communication skills and proven ability to work with customers, senior management, technical teams and other stakeholders.
Basic understanding and experience with HTML/CSS coding, UTMs, and URL structures and redirection.
Experience with a CRM a plus.
Knowledge of using social media channels for business a plus.
